The gastronomic path between wine and works of art begins in Seggiano, one of the smaller of the Monte Amiata villages, where there is an art park of contemporary sculpture boasting a cornucopia of works by famous artists. Heading towards Stazione Monte Amiata, you’ll cross the Orcia river and head towards the charming castle of Velona, before reaching Sant'Antimo and its Abbey. The Norbertine monastery complex is one of the most important architectural delights from the Tuscan-Romanic period. Passing through the Brunello vineyards, you will reach the village of Montalcino with its many wine cellars and its grand medieval fortress.
